How to Create a Kid's Website

Ask yourself what kids want. Got an answer? Well, they want fun and freedom. There's no better way to give them this fun and freedom then creating a kid's website.
STEPS :
Find a provider. There are many free providers available. Or, you can ask an adult to pay for a separate website. Remember, though, a separate website will cost you money.
Find something to make your website with. An expensive package will have better quality. However, you can find some cheaper alternatives, too.
Design your site. Make sure all of the pages use the same style. You could use a master page or background to do so. It's a good idea to have a logo in the top of the page and a list of pages. Then you can add whatever you need onto the page. Remember, each piece of software is different.

How to Protect Your Computer from Your Parents

You definitely want to customize your PC, and even more so protect it from your parents, roommates, or whoever lives in your house.
STEPS :
1. Set up a password. This is key. You'll want a distinct password, I've been able to guess a lot of my friends' passwords, just to show them how easy it is. You'd be surprised how many people have their username as their password. So make the password a secret obsession you have, or something from your childhood or even a random object eg: 'cd case'.
2
2. Make others in your household an account. Almost 75% of the time, people will stop going into your account if you make them their own. Be sure to give them limited access, unless you want them to be able to access your account.
3
3. There is obviously still a chance that they'll get into your files and mess around. Here's what you do: go to your desktop. Right-click and make a compressed zipped folder. Name it Desktop Stuff or whatever you want. Put all of your desktop files except My Computer and Recycling Bin, into the file. Then go into the folder, and click file, add password. Add one, different from your username. It can be a simpler one, but not easy! if you are an advanced user, make a encrypted file container with FreeOTFE or truecrypt.
4
4. Go to My Documents, make a compressed zipped folder, named my documents, same thing, again different password.
5
5. If you don't want people to know your internet history, there are TWO things to do. One, set your History to 0 days to keep, by clicking Tools > Internet Options, in Internet Explorer. Also in Tools > Internet Options, clear your history every time after you use the Internet.
6. You don't want friends to get into any of your online accounts, right? Click Tools > Internet Options, again and go to Content on the top of the box. Click AutoComplete, and then clear passwords, and clear forms, and then uncheck all the little boxes, so they don't save again.
7
7. For extra security, download Mozilla Firefox if you don't already have it. Parents won't check it, and it's easy to clear everything but your favorites - Tools, Clear Private Data.
8
8. You can use Google Chrome Incognito feature for private internet browsing. Using this feature allows you to surf internet in a way that no history is saved in the browser.
9. For protection from password cracking programs such as Ophcrack, press the Windows key and R at the same time, type in syskey and press enter, choose update, select password startup, and type a password. This will encrypt your password with another password to make using software such as Ophcrack to crack the password much more difficult.
Warnings
§ Never put extremely personal info on your pc; friends can get into it if they have hacking skills.
§ This does not protect you against hackers.
§ Export or use of strong encryption may be restricted in some jurisdictions.
§ Your parents might get suspicious if you delete your whole history, so just delete the sites you don't want them to see.

How to Make Animation or Movies with Microsoft PowerPoint

Flipbook cartoon animations are fun, aren't they? Don't you wish you could make them in Powerpoint? Or just make them smoother than before? This how-to can help you make movies, cartoons, and animations faster and better with Powerpoint. STEPS : 1.Open Powerpoint and create a new presentation. Make a blank slide and set the transition to advance after 1 seconds. Click Apply to all. 2. Draw the first frame of your animation. this one is important - it is the frame that all of the other frames in this scene will be based on. Take your time with it. 3. Duplicate the slide, and make a very slight change in this slide for the progress of the animation. If you had a ball falling, make it go down one or two places. (Note: Powerpoint doesn't use actual pixels, but a slightly larger placement system. Think of it as an invisible graph.) 4. Duplicate the new slide and keep going. For things like gravity, make the motion stronger each time, eg, changing it more and more. The most catastrophic thing is to make things go too fast,s o don't be afraid to take a lot of slides to do one thing - you can always delete them later. 5. Preview your presentation constantly, changing anything you think needs to be changed. Erase unneeded slides and such, add or delete details until your presentation is perfect. 6. Add in sounds and other details, then make a beginning and ending slide, maybe even an opening sequence. 7. You're done! If you want, you can even turn it into a flash movie using wink.
